CÊLÁ is a small, female-founded brand based in Lagos, Portugal. We believe in slow fashion, slow living, and doing things with love
We make everything as close to home as possible. Most pieces are handmade in Portugal, and we’re always working towards producing more locally, even when it isn’t the easiest path.
And now, we create for the little ones, too.
The ocean. Nature. The Portuguese coast. Blooming almond trees, the smell of the sea. The combination of history and contemporary.
CÊLÁ was founded by Naomi, who was born and raised in the beautiful coastal town of Lagos, in Portugal’s Algarve region. After graduating in Fashion Design from ArtEZ University of the Arts in Arnhem, the Netherlands, in 2018, she chose to return home and build both her life and her brand where her roots are.
Although many advised her otherwise, it felt like the most natural decision she could make. That instinct became the foundation of CÊLÁ. From the name to the lifestyle it represents, from sourcing and production to the essence of the brand itself, everything is inspired by a slower, more intentional way of living.
Becoming a mother changed everything.
As her daughter grows, Naomi finds herself growing alongside her, discovering new parts of who she is while reconnecting with her inner child.
CÊLÁ Mini was born from that journey. It exists for her daughter, and for that part of her too.
